Client Problem
Enjoy The Wood relied entirely on Amazon, which limited brand storytelling, customer engagement, and control over the shopping experience. They needed a Shopify store for the AE market to showcase their identity, sell directly to customers, and run flexible marketing campaigns. Key challenges included no website presence, limited personalization, and lack of direct customer data.
Pain Points
- No dedicated website presence (Amazon only)
- Limited ability to upsell or personalize shopping experience
- No direct customer data ownership
- Lack of flexibility for localized marketing campaigns
Objectives
- Build a high-performing Shopify store from scratch
- Implement custom PDP and PLP layouts for product storytelling
- Add flexible homepage sections for promotions and campaigns
- Optimize speed, SEO, and mobile experience
- Provide continuous support to ensure scalability
Solution
We transformed a standard Shopify theme into a fully customized store tailored for AE customers. Product pages were optimized for visual storytelling and cross-sells, while collection pages offered intuitive filtering and navigation. The homepage featured flexible sections for seasonal promotions and brand storytelling.
Performance was improved with lazy loading, image optimization, clean Liquid code, and mobile-first layouts, ensuring faster load times and better SEO.
To empower the client’s marketing team, we built modular templates that are easy to update without developer support and enabled multi-language readiness for future growth. Ongoing retainer-based support ensures continuous enhancements and technical maintenance.
Research & Strategy
We benchmarked top-performing e-commerce brands to align UX with global best practices, localized messaging for the AE market, and worked closely with the client to maintain consistency with their global brand identity.
Development & Technology
The project utilized Git for version control, tailored Liquid components for flexible layouts, and Shopify-native integrations for payments, analytics, and marketing automation.
Results / Outcomes
The first localized website for the AE market was successfully launched, expanding sales channels beyond Amazon and reducing marketplace dependency. The new store improved conversion rates through a mobile-first, performance-focused design and gave the brand direct ownership of customer data, enabling loyalty programs and remarketing.
